Luna is the Sailor Scouts’ advisor and Usagi’s black guard cat in the anime series Sailor Moon. Similar to Artemis, this alien cat belongs to Minako Aino (Sailor Venus). Usagi’s entry point towards her transformation into Sailor Moon was Luna. The manga claims that Artemis and Luna are both extraterrestrials from the planet Mau, not the Moon as we might expect.
