Horseland is a cartoon program based on DiC Entertainment’s virtual pet game.
It centers on four teenagers, Sarah, Alma, Molly, and Bailey, who works at a horse ranch called, you got it, Horseland. When humans are not around, the horses and other animals that inhabit Horseland are able to speak to humans. It includes a variety of horse-related situations in addition to the usual teenage issues. Shep, a knowledgeable border collie, narrates each episode and gives the morals and explanations for how to apply them. Basically, it’s The Saddle Club in animation. On February 5, 2011, the show made its way back to CBS as a part of Cookie Jar TV.
