Grumpig is a Psychic-type Pokemon introduced in Generation III. It is known as the “Hypnosis Pokemon”. Grumpig’s coloring page is black with a pink belly. Grumpig has a round body and short, stubby legs.
Grumpig has a large, black pig-like snout with a small, round pink nose. Grumpig has long, thin ears that are pink on the inside and end in black tips. Grumpig has two small, beady eyes.
Grumpig has a curly tail that is also black with a pink tip. Grumpig is known to use its psychic powers to levitate objects and sometimes other Pokémon. Grumpig is also known to use its powers to spin objects in the air.
Grumpig is usually found in forests and grasslands. Grumpig feeds on Berries and roots. Grumpig evolves from Spoink starting at level 32. Grumpig can Gigantamax into Gigantamax Grumpig in Pokémon Sword & Shield’s The Crown Tundra expansion pass.
When Gigantamaxed, Grumpig grows even larger and its body becomes completely black except for its pink belly. Grumpig can use this pearl to sense negative emotions like sadness and anger. When Grumpig is exposed to these negative emotions, it will begin to collect them in the pearl until it reaches full capacity.
At that point, Grumpig will release all of the negativity in the form of a destructive shockwave. Grumpig is usually found near areas with high concentrations of negative emotion, such as battlefields or funeral homes.
