Gyarados Pokemon is a dual-type Water/Flying Pokémon. It evolves from Magikarp starting at level 20. Gyarados are notoriously rare in the wild, although their large and hardy nature makes them well suited for life in harsh conditions. Gyarados is an aggressive predators, known to be very destructive when angered.
Although it is normally calm and docile, it has been known to go on rampageous rampages, destroying entire cities in a fit of rage. Gyarados are also capable of Mega Evolving into Mega Gyarados. Gyarados’s coloring page shows it as a blue serpentine creature with red fins along its body.
Gyarados is one of the few Pokémon that can learn Draco Meteor. Gyarados are said to be able to Ghai entire seas just by flipping their tail fin. Gyarados were most likely based on the legend of the kappa, Japanese water monsters that can drag people into ponds and drowned them.
