Venusaur, also known as Fushigibana in Japan, is a dual-type Grass/Poison Pokémon. Venusaur is number three in the National Pokédex. It evolves from Ivysaur starting at level 32. Venusaur can Mega Evolve into Mega Venusaur using the Venusaurite.

Venusaur is a bipedal, reptilian creature with four short legs and a long tail. Its rounded snout and eyes give it a reptilian look, while its thick bulbous arms and legs suggest an amphibian origin. The majority of Venusaur’s body is green, with a plush yellowish-green belly.

On top of its head are small, pointed ears with ragged ends. Above its round black eyes are two triangle-shaped growths; Venusaur’s female counterpart will have these fang-like horns slightly longer than those of the male.

Directly below these growths are Venusaur’s large mouth and red nose. There are rows of sharp teeth visible inside its mouth, including four large canine teeth. A Venusaur has an immense flower on its back that serves as much as a weapon as it does for camouflage.
