Winter The Dolphin was born in October 2005, making her about ten years old as of 2016. She lives in Clearwater, Florida, where she was rescued as a Winter The Dolphin calf. As a result of being entangled in a crab trap, Winter lost her tail and dorsal fin. She was fitted with a prosthetic tail and now serves as an ambassador for the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Winter has been featured in several films, including “Dolphin Tale” and “Dolphin Tale 2.”
