On top of its head are two black spots surrounded by yellow rings. Carnivine has two thin red vines as arms, each tipped with a small tooth. There are also four red, ovular spots on its back. At the base of Carnivine’s neck is a small, yellow bulb from which it can shoot sticky saliva.

Carnivine is also capable of digestingñor even surviving inócorrosive fluids such as acid rain, due to the protective coatings. Carnivine can be found in the Sinnoh region. Carnivine can be used in battle against Flying-type, Psychic-type, and Bug-type Pokémon. Carnivine is weak against Fire-type, Flying-type, Psychic-type, and Ice-type moves.
